Without electrical impulses in your body you wouldn't be able to have a heart beat, walk or read this article. The idea that electricity can be generated from the ether is based on the notion that the universe contains an untapped source of energy that can be harnessed. This idea has been proposed by Nikola Tesla and others, but the ether hypothesis was ultimately abandoned in favour of Einstein's theory of relativity. But Nikola Teslas idea has gained traction again as modern technology has allowed science to measure and record data that suggests that the universe actually is an untapped source of energy.
